    Pet dog micro chips

Is it possible to get a pet micro chipped here with a GPS locater?

I've seen a few lost dog posters up around my area, all of them pedigrees. My dogs are as soft as shite and too friendly for their own good so I'm a bit concerned. I don't leave the gate open but dogs are dogs.
I would post pictures but life's too short.

Nope - GPS trackers for dogs need to have a sim card and that it a tad too big to be injected. You can get collars which have this technology, but they need a monthly subscription to the service.

You can probable get something like this
Pet GPS Tracker for tracking cats or dogs using the collar

stick a thai sim card in it and it might work?

Other option is a buzz collar so that if they walk out past a certain point from your property the dogs get a loud buzz, then if they persist, a shock. A bit mean though if some bugger knicks them as they are being kidnapped and electrocuted at the same time and all because they wanted to do a shit in a different place.

    I shouldn't worry about it -

Not a micro-chip, but a tracker that attaches to the collar and is going to be out on the market in the near future. Currently, web site is in German but this will go international as the product matures. I have heard some pretty big investment into the product is taking place.

    GRETA - Ihr Universal-Ortungssystem

It has been undergoing trials this year and is due to go live next year as a high end product. I have seen a couple of demos and they were pretty impressive, not just for pets but also vulnerable people, although this will come later.
