Sign writers will normally just copy what's given to them. Hence why there are various 'Message Parlours' around the country.

Except when it's for a farang, then they will correct any mistakes they think they see.

A mate had 'Pay attention to detail' altered to 'Play attention'. When questioning the signmaker it was pointed out to him that attention is not money, cannot pay, only play. they know more than you.
