Police Raids Show in PP69 Venue

At 2 am on 17th July the police went to inspect a venue in North Pattaya called the PP69 Show, which was informed of having inappropriate sex shows.

Entering the venue the police found red handed the staff were performing naked therefore escorted 4 men, 2 women and 6 transvestite staff to the police station together with the venue’s manager; Mr. Raek Iamsa-Ard, aged 35.

The 12 staff were warned and charged 500 Baht each before letting them go and the manager was detained for further proceedings while the owner of the venue is being contacted.

Explicit Show Bar raided by Bangkok Police in Naklua.
Police from the Bangkok Crime Suppression Unit conducted a covert operation at an entertainment complex in Naklua after receiving information that explicit shows were taking place at the location. The information received was accurate and a raid of the establishment took place where 9 female performers and 3 transsexuals were arrested along with the Manager of the venue, Khun Boonchoo. A report will now be sent to the Governor of Chonburi Province who may decide to impose a temporary or permanent closure order on the venue.

must be lots of them right. i remember taking a package tour from singapore about 5 or 6 years ago to bangkok and pattaya. At an extra charge the tour guide would bring you to a live sex show. i felt sorry for the guy - he must have been forced to perform 6 or 7 times a day. My sister in law (a strict muslim who nevertheless decided to pay the extra for the sex show)was pleased to hear from the tour guide that the copulating couple were in fact married.

Back in the pre-Viagra 80's there was a Thai couple that went around to the upstairs Patpong bars and did a live sex show for tips. They must have done it many times per night. I always wondered how the guy managed.

^ The upstairs bar in Patpong have some sex shows (snake, couples, toys etc...), never been there, they are very shaddy bars with funny billing. A major tourist trap.

The sex shows are alright for a newby, but get very old quickly.
They always have a lookout posted on the door to warn of approaching police. I remember this one time a girl on stage was doing the routine with the streamers coming out of her pussey when the alarm went up from the doorman. She done a bolt off stage with the streamers trailing behind her. Good entertainment.

But there are some scams, especially in the upstairs bars at Patpong. A tout offers a sex show with no cover charge. When you go in and order a beer, there is no show going on and they tell you to wait. Then the waitress puts the bill on your table which works out to 300 baht per beer. You question it and then the heavies appear out of the darkness and start standing over you. All of a sudden you realize you are the only customers and you are upstairs with a narrow stairway as the only means of escape.

But having said that you can have a good time in some of the more legit upstairs bars in Patpong. Been several years since I was last there, but the Kings Group had a good name.

Can you really be scammed into these places? I mean, can I say I was scammed into going to Disneyland, because I didn't expect all the rides they have for children?

I actually ran into the exact same scam as a tourist in Soho London back in '94.
Slow learner I guess.

met my uncle and auntie and four of their friends for a few nights at the shows in patpong, nana, they couldnt get enough! and as they were picking up the tabs, we got creamed by the dodgy ones, my thai girlfriend was seething with the door guys for doing it, but aunt and uncle and friends didnt care! they had the best time in bkk!
