| The Dog | Pattaya Winchester Gun Club Short Time Bar Well it looks like it is going to open again pretty soon, I was down Soi Wat Boon yesterday and they got the new signs up, it's actually in Jomtien, not sure why I put Pattaya in the title. This place used to be called the Blind Beggar, Sundays used to be packed out as they had free food and a stripper, plus it's pretty much out of the way so its real unlikely your wife or girlfriend would find you, then the owner decided it would be better for him to move to the Philipines so it had a name change to the Winchester club and went down hill from there Lets hope it does better this time round

![]() | I stopped there years ago just to see what the hype was about. Definately your bargain basement type shopping. The TGF I was with at the time, didn't have a clue where or what the place was, so it has the good location going for it. Maybe they will get it revived. Probably hard to do during slow season but good luck. BJ |

![]() | Showed her?, yep. She saw it from the car with the air running. She didn't want to go in at the time. But, even if I did take her in, so what? I take lots of TGF's into all sorts of places. Agreed on how dark it was there. It took all of 30 seconds to look around and see it was an "elephant graveyard" of bargirls who can't work elsewhere. Sorry if I busted one of your favorite hangouts. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^The only bars I used to go to in Thailand were outdoor, so it seemed dark and dingy - I mean, there is no natural light. It had loads of pictures of london gangster types on the wall if it is the same place. Then again looking at the picture it does look a bit different....I went about 4 years ago, have they done it up? |

| The Dog | I don't think there has been any major changes in the last 4 years, maybe the extension and the building next door. Nick I don't think you have ever taken advantage of what a short time bar has to offer, ie girls playing with your bits and pieces, maybe getting it out to have a look at it, you would have to be a right pervert if you wanted the bar nice and bright so everybody else could see what they were doing, oh, you mean you couldn't see what they were doing to the customers |

![]() | Was this boozer originally ran & owned by the cockney faggot that was bequeathed ultra millions from his boyfriend artist and subsequently escaped to the Philippines for fear of the Thai's getting their grubby hands on his new found wealth. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You are a bit mixed up mate, the Winchester was originaly owned and run by Bill who is now in Angeles. The cockney you refer to is Phil the faggot who was the boyfriend of John Edwards who died a few years ago leaving Phil the fag a fortune, John Edwards used to be the boyfriend of Sir Francis Bacon. As far as i know Phil the iron had nothing to do with the Winchester financialy, apart from coming there now and again and pissing everyone off. |

I just popped in there mid afternoon onetime- they used to do good value BBQ's a couple of times a week but I think that went by the wayside. The girls were dire, and there were three punters- but it was mid arvo.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The same sign was on a building outside Central Park Hotel in Angeles City - I assume that that was Bill's place. Closed when I was there a year ago. I thought the Winchester (years ago in Pattaya) was on the Jomtien border of Pattaya - not as far in as Soi Wat Boon. Had a glass-sided swimming pool let into one wall, with girls swimming. And then that closed and a 'Winchester' bar opened above Champions on Walking Street. Then I thought the guy died. This must have been three or more years ago. Time flies. |

Used to frequent one or the other frequently (sorry - no pun intended) in the days when I was working in LOS. Then got married and changed lifestyle. It was all hazy then - still hazy now. From alcoholism to Alzheimers in one step - read the book. | |

![]() ![]() | I thought it was called the Winchester then changed to the Blind Begger. I frequented the place a few times as the Winchester and a few as the Blind Begger, for sure the place had gone down hill the last time I made a visit, probably two years ago now. |
