    Fully Booked For January

Whats happening in Pattaya. I thought the arse had falling out the tourist industry. I've just tried to book 5 different hotels and everyone is fully booked for January.
The last thing I want is too much competion for my bar fines. Lets hope the place will be mobbed with families and not fellow mongers.

Don't worry, the Thais have an efficient business plan with supply geared to accommodate demand volatility. I'm sure you will find someone to love you.

new year lots of the young ladies descend on there issaan families for the holidays,

it happens to coincide with my need to take Coffey in the towns only Coffey shop,

a bit like a migration north with sacks of gold for ma and pa,

there mite be a few old boilers hanging around the bars when you arrive,

these young things then parade about in small skirts and love you long time T shirts
a bit of a boost for my tired old eyes,

they are like peacocks in a hen house up here,
yes i know the peacock is a man bird , but then not all of them are girls.
life is what happens to us while we are making other plans

Was wondering the same as OP myself. In April tried to book Diana Oasis for December/January. No chance full.

Opted for Nature View and asked for a Pool View room same period December/January. Informed Pool Side fully booked so settled for room overlooking Soi Buckaroo.

I think this upcoming High Season, Pattaya have Falang toooo mutthhh.

I would suspect that many of these places aren't actually booked, they just don't, can't or won't book that far in advance. Even if they did/could they probably couldn't keep track that far in advance and would run into problems with booking, so they don't.

A Russian tour group probably booked it out long before the protests and coup. They sometimes book more than a year in advance to get a much cheaper rate. You know the Thais.....offer them a 100 baht today or 500 next week and most will take the 100. That's why there are so many Russians in Thailand now. They get incredibly cheap tours.

When I worked in Sakhalin my employer used to fly me business round trip for about 1200US. There was a a local tour co' flying the Ruskis on a economy charter flight for 300US. Thank fuck they were on the black list of the client.

Hotels where there is room for everyone

    Scottish Gary.

Balls to booking anything. Get yourself out of arrivals at Swampy and on the Bell Bus or in a taxi and just steam down that highway towards Sin City.

For nearness to naughty action, where you roll out of bed, stumble out of the door and into the arms of an leggy lovely, the hotels and guest houses of Soi Chaiyapoon will have something available without booking. They always do.

For clean air, quiet and a different vibe, the far end of Jomtien (end of the line for the baht bus) has a couple of sois with hotels rarely fully booked.

And if that doesn't grab your gonads, then chug on down to Naklua, where few fear to tread. You will always find something there too.

Weekend after weekend away from Bangers I used to travel to Pattaya and in all seasons I never failed to find somewhere decent to stay. No dives, fleapits or skankhouses either!

Granted, Naklua is full of sunburnt Ruskie couples and German Hermanns, but when needs must, and you need a place to bed down ..it beats staying up allnight in the shitholes that are Pattaya's discos.

Places that accept bookings via the net this far in advance are always heavily booked for the Christmas / New Year period in Pattaya.

Why else would it be the way it is other than because it makes money?

Blackpool and Las Vegas are the only places in the world where you can buy girls with chips

Another 5 baht??? You mean she's had one already. There is no way a bird would get 10 baht out of me... Id rather suck my own dick.

I'm a creature of habit and always stay at the same place in Naklua. I call reception ask for the day manager say hi ask her when we are getting married and then do you have a room? Yes but maybe not poolside. They might be "full" but they always find something.

    Loyalty IS sometimes rewarded.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

If hotel has no available rooms.

I ask if the King comes, you have no room for him?

Manager: Of course we have room for the King!

I say he's not coming! so this room I take.

I always get hotel room at once, no problems!
