2 children killed, 18 year old carer assaulted and then killed at East Pattaya Home -

Over the weekend Nongprue Police began a triple murder investigation following the discovery of a 2 year old, 7 year old and their 18 year old carer at a house in East Pattaya. An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspected murderer.

Just after 4.30am on Saturday Police were called to the house at the Paradise Hill 2 Village in Soi Kao Noi by Khun Wilaiwan aged 33, who found her two children aged 2 and 7 dead in the master bedroom alongside her Niece, Khun Wipawee aged 18.

The 2 year old had been strangled to death with a towel which was tied around his neck, the 7 year old had been stabbed in the neck and stomach and the 18 year old had been stabbed four times in the neck and three times in the stomach. Forensic Police found evidence of a sexual assault of the 18 year old, who was semi-naked, and Police suspect the children may have witnessed the attack which led the suspected murderer to kill the children as well as the young woman.

The father of the two children and uncle of the deceased woman is Mr. Jason Lieberman aged 41, an American who works as an IT Manager in The Philippines. He is now back in Thailand as Mr. Lieberman and his wife come to terms with their tragic loss. We also understand that funeral ceremonies for the three deceased victims are underway at a local Temple.

Khun Wilaiwan is friends with a 17 year old girl, Khun Bowalat who asked her if she could find her friend, Khun Chanadar aged 17 some work. Khun Wilaiwan introduced her to a South Pattaya Bar owner where she began work as a Coyote Dancer.

On the day of the murder, Khun Wilaiwan returned home with Khun Chanadar, who she picked-up after work and waiting outside of the house was a man, later named as Khun Prajab aged 19, sitting on a motorbike, the boyfriend of the dancer. He left with his girlfriend, Khun Chanader before Khun Wilaiwan entered her house and found the bodies of her children and niece.

Outside of the house was her notebook computer and a gold necklace along with a bottle of whisky, which a Security Guard at the village saw Khun Prajab bring with him when he arrived earlier in the night to collect his girlfriend. In fact, he had come twice to the village at around 1.45am and at 3am. CCTV was available and provided an image of the suspect arrive on his motorbike.

An arrest warrant for Khun Prajab has now been issued and Police suspect he has fled to Bangkok with his girlfriend, who last contacted a friend from a phone box at a PTT Petrol Station in Laem Chabang. Police are unsure if she is aware her boyfriend is a murder suspect or not. He is also wanted on a burglary and sexual assault charge.

Nong prue Police are now leading the murder investigation and the hunt for the suspected killer who remains at-large for now.

My wife has been going on about this for a couple of days saying it was all over the Thai news, strange it's only just surfaced on the farrang news?

A very nasty crime, even worse as it was committed just around the corner from my in laws house.

It doesn't get much worse than that. I can't imagine what goes on in somebody's head to rape somebody then kill her and 2 young kids because that might help you to get away with the crime...

I don't know how the poor parents could come to terms with that.

Prajab pulls up at the house, to pick up his coyote dancer girlfriend, she hasnt arrived yet, he sees the young niece, tries his luck, rape and murder follow, the kids are screaming and so he kills them.

The poor mother will be forever questioning herself about why she befriended someone from that industry, knowing full well that the gutter society they mix in contains some of the most despicable people that thailand and the world has to offer.

I dont think he killed them to get away with it. He sat outside on his bike waiting for his girlfriend to arrive back from the club.

Reads to me like he killed them all to get back at the americans wife for getting his girl a job in a gogo bar.

    Horrible stuff

My wife told me that his defense is that the girl tried to rape him and he flipped out and killed her and then got scared so did the kids as well.

He hasn't as yet gave a reason for breaking in though.

The wife tells me that in Thailand rapists in prison are the lowest of the low and he is going to suffer until he dies.

What a shame there's no segregation.

This was actually in the news a few days ago. The security in the moo baan gave evidence quotes of him waiting outside the house (he personal details were unknown to them), then entering. Of course they did nothing, as I suppose something uncomfortable like loss of face might have happened.

    Good defence, that. Very credible.

    Why doesn't that surprise me?

Is it possible she was also in that line of work? Why else would she be picking up an acquaintance at 4:30am instead of being at home with her kids?

Horrible crime. Poor kids (and I include the 18 year old in that)

I first came across this on Thaivisa, not one post had any mention of the Husband.
Then I mentioned it today to My Wife and She knew all about it,Her Facebook friend had posted pictures of the two dead children.
I did not want to see the picture.
My condolences to the Poor Father,
The Father has lost his children.
This marriage is on the rocks.
Double blow, life can be so cruel to a Man.
    Hope He comes through.

according to the reported story, the father was out of the country, leaving the children in the care of the mother, who was out until 4.30am with a dancer from a pattaya bar, leaving her two children in the care of a 17 year old babysitter.

families should stay together, full stop. especially families with children where the mother has friends in the pattaya bar scene, befriends girls that work in them and stays out until 4.30am. thats not being a mother. a man marrying a woman like that has made a bad choice.

a truly awful chain of events that will torture the poor parents for a long time.

like the victims in tom and jerry cartoons, many thais cant see trouble in advance until it hits them smack in the face like the heavy iron oversize frying pan.

Reminds me of that case where a neighbouring couple broke into a house down south Thailand I think. Robbed some jewellery of little value and then killed the 2 girls (whom they knew) who were in the house just to get away with a small robbery. It can shake your faith in human nature when people kill children in cold blood just to get away with a few dollars.

I pity the off-shore workers that have families. Every month you have to tear yourself away from your kids (leaving them in a country like Thailand while you're a few day's travel away in the middle of the ocean should anything happen). Every second month of your life. Just couldn't do it.

I don't think the throng were laughing. It was reported on the news that it took hours before the police could get the kunt back out of the reenactment as the throng wanted to kill the horrible little fukker.

certainly there was some of the crowd were out for blood , but some thought it was all part of a show put on as entertainment by Thailands "police scum'.
It just reminds me of what a sad society that is Thailand today.

Yep, very true. Quite a few friends of mine have serious problems to deal with when they return here. Simply put, they should chosen better spouses..

What this guy is going through now beggars belief. RIP to the poor kids. Sickening indeed.
