I like Lucifer's on Walking Street. You have the quiet bit at the front and the jumping packed club with live bands through the back.
My younger friends swear by MIXX. Apparently they play great dance music and have top guest DJs. Judge Jools and Carol Cox have played their. Insomnia is supposed to be good as well if your into that sort of thing.

If your after a bit of a dance floor shuffle to a Thai band murdering ''tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree'' then the Bamboo will do the job.
