Pattaya Lakeland Cable Ski

Pattaya Lake Land Cable Ski is about 4 kms out of Pattaya going past Jomtien heading towards Sattahip on Sukhumvit Road, it is a big man made fresh water lake and today was the first time I have stopped there after going past it thousands of times over the years.

It's actually pretty good, some of the guys there should be on tv, although some of them just tumbled over as soon as they grabbed the cable towing thing, that didn't look so cool, could have been danbo I suppose trying to catch fish with his teeth.

They charge 300baht for 2 hours or 500baht for the whole day.

The guy on the right tried a somersalt off of the ski ramp but didn't quite make it, but I have some videos of those that did make it, and of some other skiing tricks that they did.

So if you fancy some water skiing in Thailand this is the place to come.

As you can see the Lake is pretty big, it's set back about 100 meters off of Sukhumvit Road but they have a great big sign on the road so you cant miss it.

Now this guy knew how to ski, shame they don't make the jumps higher and tow them at differant speeds to try and put them off.

This video has 2 guys in it, one successfully doing 180 turns on his board, and the other successfully doing a nose dive off of the ski ramp, although he may have been trying to land on his ski board and messed it up a bit.
