    inexpensive lodging?

I may be accepting a job in the Jontien Beach area soon. I am looking for the least expensive lodging available while I visit to check out the potential employer and if I accept the position, I will need a place to stay while I search for a place for my Wife, 4 year old daughter and I to reside.

I am not going to be there for the tourist life or the nightlife. I'm thinking a guesthouse with low monthly rates???

Any advice from locals would be greatly valued.
    Thanks..
P.S. I am an American who has been living in northern Thailand with my Thai wife for about a year..not quite a greenhorn farang!

Quite often, if you befriend the good monks, any sizeable local Wat can be available.

No that would be a hole in the wall type room with a bucket in the corner to clean your ass/shower with.

If you want something a bit more flash then the budget would start at around 10k per month.

MrRoomFinder | Bangkok Apartments For Rent And Condos For Rent In Bangkok

I would love you to stay in View Dee Apartments though. room available for 4000 baht a mumpf with wifi, golf hole, colour TV with a hundred channels, fishing lake, and best of all, super star Brian Jacks turning your bed down each morning.

I've never understood the thing about wanting to reside in the crappest, cheapest shithole while he hunts for a proper house. Why not just go straight for a proper place?

Because he is skint. All of his money has been used up so he has to get a job. After a year he is spending up country money and thinks 4k is a months food bill as opposed to the 1 week millionairres such as your good self who think 4k is a bar fine and jump with a hooker, a few beers and maybe a suck job from a lady boy.

He asked a reasonable question giving all the details required unlike many others, so help the fool out, not judge him for having no dough ray mee left.

OP - found a place yet?
