    british passport - hong kong

    hi guys, got to renew the passport next week, is it right they will accept just a copy, is DHL the best way to send the application, if so which office

    is bank draft the best means of payment, can any bank supply this

    any tips appreciated, cheers

    Yes, you only need send a photocopy of the photograph page of your passport, plus a photocopy of the page that has the visa for Thailand stamped on it.

    I sent mine by EMS with no problems. DHL offices are too far from me.

    I used DHL, they had the envelopes ready - pay for a round trip! I used credit card (visa) to pay

    hi guys, appreciate the replies, where is the DHL office in pattaya, also it says only pay one way on the site as they charge a fee to return anyway, cheers

    P.S. I've got a KTB Shop Smart VISA. Will they accept that?

    DHL are good. They delivered my daughters passport to Bangkok and held it in their office until the missus got back 2 weeks later then delivered it to the door again

    update - new passport arrived today, used EMS (400 baht) came from u.k. couldn't be easier, thanks for the help

    is it easy enough to get the visas swapped into the new passport or do you just carry your old one around as well?

    It pretty easy to have them swapped and possibly the fastest service available at Chaengwattana. Takes under 20 mins.

    hi guys, the passport came direct from the u.k. my paperwork will be returned seperately from hong kong my visa runs out may 1st so i will look at renewing asap does anyone know how to get a letter confirming proof of income from the britiah embassy by the way, cheers
