Errmm, go to a good optician, they will test your eyes, often for free
I'm in the Philippines, but Thailand is the same I'm pretty sure. Go to any good eyeglasses store in the mall, most have a trained optician and all of the testing gear on site. That's how they sell glasses and frames. I just got new glasses last week. No charge for the examination, only for lens and frames. Ready in 5 working days. Picked them up today - perfect.
go to a good optician - love it
what does a good optician look like - description please
Haven't been to an opticians in Pattaya but went to Charoen Optical in Udon and they were okay. As Davis says, most of the shops have a trained optician nowadays.
Only thing is that, unlike the UK, they do not do a test for Glaucoma. If you want this then go to the hospital and have your eyes tested and then give the results to one of the opticians to have the glasses made.
I imagine there is a Pattaya Opticians ...yep there is...
HOME - Pattaya Optical
Anyone been there?
^Good point re glaucoma. At a certain age, I guess you should get that checked periodically.
The last thing you wanna do in Pattaya is get your vision sorted.
You are in for the shock of your life
I used Top Charoen on South Pattaya Road when my arms couldn't stretch any further and reading became almost impossible. They were great, and had a deal on at the time (as they often do) of 2 sets of glasses for the price of one. Very happy with the final result and would gladly use them again when or if stronger lenses are needed.
This is a photo of my 10 inch cock if you see a dot you need an optometrist

For a complete comprehensive eye test incl the test for glaucoma, visit:
1. St Peters Eye Hospital halfway down the west side of the Super towards Chotana Intersection, and across from Lanna Hospital.
2. McCormick Hospital's new eye care department.
See Ya
Got mine checked in Royal Garden Plaza. Free too.
