Mata Hari
Mata Hari also. Just very good.
I'm rather partial to brunching at the Mackarel Lounge.
The Ritz in Chomptien
My wife is such a good cook I find places like Mata Hari and Brunos an expensive disappointment.
There are some great restaurants on the Darkside now, fantastic food and at a fraction of the price you pay on the Brightside.
I like the Aquarium Restaurant just opposite the Joy Joy Bar on Siam Country Club Rd.

Manhattan Steak House. Not as good as Texas, but better than most of the beef in Thailand.
Took a look at Manhattan's web site, looks like a nice place. We'll go for dinner the next time we're up there. Might call to see if reservations are needed.

Just returned from 3 weeks R&R Pattaya , my choices this time are : Lindas Jomtien, , Curry Hut Rompo market , Coffee Club RGP ( try smoked salmon egg benidect @ breakfast) the new Mexican (Sunrise) in Jomtien is good but expensive.
Is that the place on 2nd rd near the dolphin round about that does very nice pies? If thats it, yes we bought pies to go on a few occasions. Nice.
Surprisingly good, on the basis of one meal there. Their vindaloo is a standout.Originally Posted by stailmanki
