Two highways from Mae Sariang and Pai link the valley to Chiang Mai on routes that take them through steep mountains with panoramic views of neighboring Myanmar to the north and west.

The journey through hairpin bands and steep climbs and descents are the integral part of the Mae Hong Son experience. Nature, the highlanders’ culture and soft adventure are the hallmarks of a trip to this valley in Thailand’s second northernmost province.
