Nan to Chiang Rai via Phayao by bus - is it possible?

I'm planning my next jaunt, and was wondering whether it's possible to get to Chiang Rai from Nan via Phayao by bus in a single day?

Ideally I'd like to leave Nan early in the morning, spend a few hours in Phayao, then catch a late afternoon bus to Chiang Rai.

(And does the bus from Nan arrive at the same place as the buses to Chiang Rai leave from in Nan?)

Havent found anything yet but I did find these bus distances. If they dont have a bus why would they post the distances? Still looking as it sounds like mountain fun.

Distance from Phayao city to nearby provinces
Chiang Mai 140 kms.
Chiang Rai 94 kms.
Lampang 130 kms
Nan 137 kms.
Phare 156 kms.

This would seem to indicate you can.

Phayao, depending on route taken, is 600-700 km from Bangkok, 90 km from Chiang Rai, 140 km from Chiang Mai and 137 km from Nan. This positioning makes Phayao a good choice to break the journey of those travelling between Nan and Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai.

Here are the times Chiang Mai/Nan, thus proving there is a bus.

Nan via Phayao & Chun (6 hrs.) 05:45, 07:30, 08:00, 09:30, 11:30, 13:30 Phayao (3 hrs.) (All buses to Nan via Chun & Chiang Khong) and 07:30, 08:30, 10:30, 11:00, 15:30, 17:30

I did that round trip a couple of months back, in a Jazz.

Went C Rai - Nan on the sountheastern route by the National Forest, and back up via Phayao. 470 Kms round trip, roughly 3 hours eachway.

I guess you can double that time in a bus, not that I remember seeing a single bus.
