Build a small house with toilet and you'll get solar free.

    correction, that offer is discontinued

    solar energy

    Hi charley F.

I have the small house and two toilets + as many trees as I can stagger to on an evening if you get my drift?

Solar energy would be a must one thinks but noone seems to have it in the north, any reason?

People do have it, like the poor farmer types in the sticks, where they build a nominal house and no other form of electricity.

Have heard there is a lot of theft as well.

there is a system here in thailand that if you have a grid tied system the power authority will install two electriity meters in your house one for input from the grid and output from the electricity you or your house dont use.

by being involved in this you can sell your unused electricity during the day at 9baht and buy back electricity at night for 3baht.

so its worth investing in more solar panels than you actually need.

there is some helpful information on this website -> Power Green Alliance

I should think u can receive broadband, best people to contact are TT&T. We live 3 kms from the city and have rather a poor speed. I should think that if you are going to live right in Toeng town you should be OK, but if out of town then you might have to fall back on Satellite.
We have Solar Water heating, we found the contractor in Crai city very unrelyable, I've not heard of anyone with full solar electricity here.
