    Sad end of a Finish...

    As per the Khon Kaen forum :

    I'm sorry to tell you that last night Tommi (benetol) died in a motorbike accident in Khon Kaen.

    My condolences to his wife and son only 2 months old and his family and friends in Finland.


    He was the owner of PIZZA UNO restaurant near the Sofitel...

    Crashed against a tree with his motorbike, 1 AM this nigth...

    No idea if he was posting here !

    The guy seemed to be appreciated, RIP Tommi !

    Far too many people dying from bike accidents here in LOS. A few of my friends down here have. My condolences to his family.

    He seemed like a decent guy and made the best pizzas I have ever had, real italian style pizza.

    Condolences to his family, After having too many close calls at night on bikes and even cars, I made the decision 10 yrs ago not to travel after dark here on a bike and as little as possible in a car.

    Damn smart of ya Peterpan, I did the same thing about 7 years ago when I lived at San Sai and quit the nightly shit trips into CM.

    Say, they had some stainless steel Peterpans in the VIP section where I was inna hospital, but they was shaped more like Butt pans...

    When I lived in Udon, I used to ride my putt-putt out to the bars a few nights a week -- 5K. Had a few very low-speed crashes on my way home, bent the wife's front basket more than once. I figured if I was gonna crash, better to be on a putt-putt than in the truck, and probably only hurt myself. Never achieved that and now mostly drink at home.
