    The Best Breakfast In Issan

Since we're at it I'd like to throw an Issan/English fusion breakfast into the pot.

First off, make sure your Khao Niow BING (bbq'd sticky rice) is nicely crisped and a managable shape has been formed (preferably a touch smaller but a smidgen thicker than a regular slice of bread), add a thin layer of butter to one side before coating it with a liberal smear of MARMITE.

    Issanic marmite on toast.

Testicles from an animal of your choice injected with an industrial syringe full of Ya-Dong and lightly fried.

    Classical up country cuisine.

I hate the stuff TBH. If you can eat that you would enjoy felchin, I should imagine

Like eating oysters must be akin to swallowing snot or sperm.

I saw some guy, just off the boat with his Thai GF lookin for Marmite in Villa Market, funny when he saw the 450 baht price tag

If you happen to be a motorcycle driver, breakfast can be eaten on the move. Simply drive along with your mouth open, all sorts of nutrients will pile in. If you're lucky, you may be able to partake of smalls birds on their maiden voyage.

I'm quite sure the city of Bangkok prohibted me from re-entering the last time I was there.

Withnall, on the otherhand, being a stallwart pillar of any community he decends upon, would be glad to indulge in a few sherries no doubt.

But, yep..I believe a few drinks may be in order at some point in the near future.

Better that the invites be reversed. An Isaan hospitality beckons.

I prefer several tall Seagram Piper's and a splash of Coke followed by Rotari (I think I spelled that wrong) or a half a dozen eggs and some oink. If it is too hot, skip the food till dinner and catch up on the missed ones around midnight.

The ideal breakfast is 3 weetbix with sliced strawberries or babana on top, honey poured over the lot with cold fresh milk.
    Healthy and delicious.
    And a cup of coffee.

that was always the breakfast of my youth and that's the way i am heading again, never really liked the greasy English style of bacon & eggs.

Weetbix ain't healthy. Some can be convinced that processed crap is so. Marketing genius.
