top soil

we finished our home and perimeterwall last month and now have to start with the garden, but the problem is where to find good topsoil to cover the dirt (red clay and stone nothing goes on that.buying bags of the black garden land (compost) or the local cowshit does not work the wind blows it away and to expensive.
any ideas around nakhon phanom,

try a bit of mulch ( sawdust or woodchippings) to use it's normal name, and plough them in or do the same with your cowshit.

I heard about a bloke who recycled hs own cesspit to fertilise his land as well, not sure if he treated it first or not..

I remember when I did mine up in Issan.
I waited and one day I saw some dump trucks dumping nice black, rich-looking top soil nearby.
That's what I was waiting for.
I immediately got my Thai wife to go book that truck to bring the next 4 loads to my house.
Paid a little extra (and a small bottle or whiskey) to get the good, black stuff.
Everything growing like crazy now.
