Although I have walked past that bar 100 times or more, that night was the first time I had ever set foot in it. The only reason I did was because I saw a few guys I knew (two of whom were assaulted). I left because of the stupid comments of some old prick I didn't know & just the general negative vibe. From what I've been told, the assault occurred at the request of some Thai bird who felt someone had spoken to her badly. I just know New Years Eve was fantastic right up until I got around the foreigner bars.

Christmas night or the night after there was also a farang fighting with a Thai bird out in the street and from what I could see she was giving as good as she was getting from the farang.
I spent new years away in the village but got told the night before new years a farang was bottled by a couple of young thais same bar, then the following night hell breaks loose with a heap of farangs.
Strange really as its normaly just a bunch of old fellars in there.

Are you lot talking about Erics bar?

I happened to see a girl break a bottle on a guys head in there about a month ago.

Mind you, that Erics bar is an easy place to get in trouble

Yes you do make it look easy
Not erics but as there is only one more bar on that side of the street I am sure you can work it out

^ Oh that place, shocking gaff that is. You know your life is shit if you haven't got anywhere better to go than visit there

Actually the show they put on in KK was very good, as per the vid in the OP, I had a "great" view from the truck as I sat slurping a warm can of Leo in the massive traffic jam on the main road near the city gate at 11.59!
