If I was to do it on a wave, i would put it in the back of a pickup....and i would have stayed overnight in Korat.

I've seen many of the Waves and similar bikes with 100K or more on them and they're still running strong.

Yeh, they're pretty tough machines. I've driven mine close to 60,000km's in 3 years and rarely need to take it into the mechanic apart from mending the odd puncture.

I have a 1963 Honda Dream in the States. Still runs, although buying the right whitewalls for it can be a bit pricey.
