Does your land have access to a phone line? If so many isp options available.

ip Star may be ok if you are really out in the sticks but CDMA wireless would be better if you are close enough (less than 7 km) to a CDMA tower.

And an electrician is easy to find as any Thai will tell you he is the best there is.
As far as a licensed electrician, forget it in Thailand, if they even had em then anyone could buy it just like they do a drivers license.

Not all Sparkies are useless as BG points out, sma eas not all Thais are useless....a big percentage maybe, but not all.

Sparky that did my last house did such a good job that my friend from Singapore that has a huge worldwide lighting company, came to do the final programming for the lighting system and he said the Sparky did a first class job and he was expecting huge problems based on Thai workmanship...but had zero.

Unfortunately he is in Bkk and not Pak Chong and is to busy also. I am building in Pak Chong area also one day, next year maybe, maybe not....

Licensed? As if this certification would guarantee anything....FOK! We've always done our own here. Always stable electric works.
