Seems like dogs are the common denominator here? I got me 2 Khogpattana terriers! You are quite right, always something to do. I suppose its what your interests are. I've grown black pepper, a pineapple, got 4 small avo trees doing nicely, vetiver, Khakibush, stairway to paradise etc Built a house with just unbelieveable finishes. Builder has used village labour where he could. I can honestly say, it's been a great experience. I make compost....and now have people believing in the stuff. Never a dull day! I'm sitting on an oil rig off Gabon right now....now that's boring shit.

Sitting on an FPSO off North Africa just now and counting the days until I am back home in North East Thailand. I have lived there with the girl friend for just under two years. The house has been completed, no mortgage and the new Toyota Fortuner in the drive is in my name. I find village life very relaxing can go about and about wherever I like I think she trusts me? I don,t, the positive side of living in Issan for me is is the relaxed lifestyle it beats Bangers or Pattaya anyday.
And I can go there if I ever feel like it which is not to often ie flight in and flight out.
