It's held on the full moon of the 12th lunar month. So, it must be on the 24th.

Yes, my understanding is that it's on the 24th this year.

We will be in Udon for Loy Kratong, then to Chiang Mai. Nong Prajak Park in Udon also sets off the lovely big hot air lanterns when the sun sets -- they are quite impressive.

Skip Udon! Buy a flak vest, come to Chiang Mai of loi kratong. Nothing like it anywhere else just plain fuckin crazy!

Nothing can compare to setting those floats on their way on the peaceful Anadaman Sea in Phuket. Very tranquil.

Bollocks will miss it this year as back to work on the 19th November, but off for Xmas and New Year....very good as have worked them the last 8 years
