Ubon Ratachathani - Splendid Candle Festival

I've often had problems posting trip reports, especially if they require uploading a number of pictures. Sometimes a board will limit the number of pictures; sometimes it just hangs while posting..or my darn TT&T ADSL connection fails.

Anyway, I now write my TR's in MS-Word and provide a link to the file.
Such is the case with my recent motorcycle trip to Ubon. I'd previously seen a few pictures of their Buddhist Lent - Candle Parade and was determined to finally see it in person. I'm glad I made the trip...

Below is a link to the MS-Word file...some of the pictures (though resized) may load somewhat slowly. File size is 1.3Mb.

Ack! Upon posting this...with the link, the board system provided the following message: "To be able to post links your post count must be 10 or greater. Your post count is 2 momentarily.
Please remove links from your message, then you will be able to submit your post."

So...you can see the file link on Thai360.com, in their trip report section.
