There's always Buriram Expats Forums, gents..
Nearly one-and-the-same as SF [brethren forums], as the players and admin are interchangeable and crossed-over for years. Both have always had this provincial, clannish, protective "good old boys" sense about themselves.

The only downside is that BE displays similar uptight/paranoid policies as SF, as caution is a premium.

There's no information on Surin Farang that you couldn't get from Local Facebook groups.

Your eyes might be spared from bleeding as well. Some utter shit gets posted on that forum.

I don't know why I would be, Humbert.

Some members had informed me regarding a "(veiled) threat of potential ban" was posted on Friday but when I went online those posts and those posts that questioned unfettered moderation and inquiring about a recent banning were deleted. Funny that.

I'm just taking a break as I don't want to post an angry rant...otherwise I would miss the pics of beans, toast and bloody eggs particularly displaying the runny yolk.

(LOL as I know Yorky will read this. Don't take this the wrong way, Yorky. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have a clue.)

Just sounded like nostalgia for the past so I had to ask if SF was over for you.

I got this. Thanks for the help though.

    This page isn't available

The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed

I did have a problem with my pump this week and wanted local help sourcing a pressure valve nearby. I ended up finding a lot of info about the problem on TV and google led me to a shop in Buriram but the best lead came from my wife who told me I was making things too complicated and recommended a shop right around here in Sangkha. And she was right. Bless her stockinged little feet.

Anybody contemplating joining Surinfarang should clear their diaries and set aside countless hours to be fully able to appreciate it. It is a cornucopia of knowledge and the skills of its posters leave one breathless. Such insight, humour and literacy make it a joy to behold !

Somebody cooked an egg in Surin yesterday.

There's a couple of decent blokes on there, but too many knobbers running amok. There was a thread recently on that Doctor who got beat up on that UA flight, where one of the posts was "Som nom na" cos the bloke turned down the offer... That's the standard you've got over there. Full on shit head chatter.

The membership base is too small for the forum to be viable. Self inflicted problem.

No idea why you didn't start a thread on here. I know pumps (vocal neal will not agree lol) and I know of that buriram shop too, and I'm in surin province ffs.

Haven't looked around as of late, but does AtB still troll other numerous forums with the sole purpose of promotion and selling himself using slight-of-hand....??

I didn't think it was worth a dedicated thread. I troubleshooted the problem myself. First I thought it was a sticky flow valve, replaced that and then realized the pump was cutting off after a minute. Identified the problem as the pressure switch pretty quickly and just had myself convinced that it would be hard to find in Sangkha which turned out not to be the case. Installed the new one this morning in ten minutes.

^ I bought mine at the mom & pop shop in prasat for 150 baht.

    At the 4-way.

That shit is sold everywhere and they even sell different switch pressures.

^I paid 250 b. Got one with a higher rating. I understand that I can have the old one rebuilt for like 100 b at the local fixit shop.

I thing I know the answer.

My Surin Thai girlfriend has just left me.
Yes she was a bargirl from Surin. She was innocent-or so I thought.
She moved back to Surin and stopped being a bargirl.
We have been seeing each other for 2 years.
    We got engaged.
I met her family and friends.
    We enjoyed each others company.
She called me everyday for 2 years.
I paid her a monthly allowance.
I looked after her 2 children.
She said she was pregnant. She showed me the video of the pregnancy test.
    I sold everything in Australia.
She got herself into debt-300000 baht and would not tell me how or what for.
She reduced her talking to me and stated that she was busy and it was serious. This went on for 4 weeks.
As soon as house was paid-she stopped talking to me. She unfriended me. She told me to stop talking to her family and friends.
She admitted to being a bargirl again in Bangkok.
She even had the cheek to ask me to take her on holidays and pay her long time!

I think I know the answer but I will ask anyway.
Do I have any legal right to half the house?
    Never trust a bargirl?

Maybe he gave them your number and you spoke on his behalf, it would need someone with local knowledge and your the sort of bloke who gets all the answers right.
