Stay home?
Surin?
Places...?
Can we be less specific?
Are you referring to Farang gathering spots - bars/restaurants?
I believe we have a few members residing in Surin and a couple living in Amphoe Sangkha - they should be along in time.

Is the " Farang Connection " still there Jeff. ?
Really nice hotel behind it by the way,
Multi story jobby, good rooms ,great view, nice price.
Guy who owned it died Terry. Not sure if it's still there. Was a couple years ago. Yes great hotel still there.
There is always a shop somewhere, where f'langs gather for a moan. Cold beer, concrete seats. Ask around- and if perchance you live there, why are you asking us?
this place isn't too far from Sangkha

Thanks.
looks nice.
will try to go there.
^Welcome to the Buffalo Board, by the way...
I think that place is in Lamduan. I live just outside Sangkha and Baldrick lives in Sangkha. I don't know of any place where farangs congregate. I only see the odd farang at the market in the center of town or at Lotus Express. I don't see much point in driving all the way to Surin for a few beers if you have to drive back at night on a two lane highway.

I will ask next week
there is always the karaoke bars on the highway
I think Pee Coffee told me it was pretty good and so has Mike from Starbeam in Surin. English food, shepherd's pie and stuff like that.Originally Posted by baldrick
Looks like Ryan's Resort is still going- it's on Route 24, about 4 km out of Prasat heading east (towards Sangkha). It has a farang type bar, dart board, pool table etc- I've never made it there though. When I last shot past at 100 kmh+ it looked a bit desolate- I thought it might have closed!

They also sponsor the 'Surin farang' board, should be some info here-
Ryans Resort
Is there a single f'rang oriented place in or around surin you actually like?
