So the parties for the schools don't cost anything then?

Aww Jason I was going to compliment you on your new pile but then you had to have a bash at Pattaya....

Not far from Pattaya, Bang Saray is almost rural.
I have a lot of local friends, and you can give presents to the schools for occasions such as Xmas and birthdays.
I also have a house (our first) in Ban Phrang, out past Nong Thai in Korat.
I visit once a year to inspect the teak farm.
The locals there love me more than down in Bang Saray, mainly because they are all related, and I have known them longer (15 years)
Shops tend to be centres of activity, and we tried it, unfortuneately the wife knows f#ck all about business, after I did the books found out she was paying everyone 1-2 baht to have a bowl of soup.
She also tended to allow credit to all relatives (90% of the village) so I shut the place down, and we moved to Bang Saray.
Wish you all the best mate, and will be up there for the school holidays, looking forward to the rest and having a few quiet ones.

The thread's nearly a decade old, love. Jason's probably licking his wounds back in London by now, and, if I was feeling malicious, I'd venture the builder has hung up his trowel and taken to the bottle (with Jason's cash) for a living.

I have a property in Pak Chong and know the area well - where abouts are you, Kazzer?

House has just had new rewiring and lighting put in.

I see I cannot still add pictures I have on my PC as I need a url, nearly 10 years now and this problem has not been sorted, and I thought the Thais were bad lol

I don't profess to be clever Jason but if I can do it it has to be very simple. Piece of piss really.

I was going to give it a go but decided against it as I would most likely get silly remarks, like some of the ones here

Let them go over your head. It's just normal TD banter that should be ignored. Seems some smart arses on here love it when posters flounce.
