The new southern style biscuit king

I am the self appointed, undisputed, new, sounthern style, buscuit king. I believe BillyBob claimed the title a while back. But, after 2 years of trying to make the perfect, southern style, buscuit I have shut him down. I haven't however, figured out how to make the gravy perfect (like mom made) yet though. BUT, I will.

I tried the biscuits at the Moonshine Pub in Jomtien. Tasted like cardboard. What's your recipe?

Without having to click a link. Great with butter, butter and jam for breakfast, or smothered in a good cream gravy.

Biscuit neither imo. Gravy is made from sausage of various varieties. Usually spicy if of Southern style sausage. Easy to make.

Gravy made from sausages?? That sounds interesting.

The biscuits themselves are one of those things I've always heard about but never tried. They do look decidedly scone like though.

I had some dumplings weekend last coincidentally enough. Friend made them for brunch on his BBQ.

Basically the same thing, similar recipe depending on how granny made your scones. Just typical murican obtuseness to eat them savory. Probably originally done out of spite.

"Here to surrender then are you General O'Hara?, splendid. Would you like a scone?
"Oh yes please, very gracious gesture Washington old chap"
    "Here you go, with SAUSAGE!

Not always. When a lad I loved them hot out of grannies oven with butter and strawberry jam. Later in life found the Brits added some magically delicious stuff called Devon clotted cream.

Gravy either way sounds wrong for scones. Cream will suffice.

Dudes, no Yanks make fun of your baked beans on white bread. Give us a break on our biscuits and gravy. Here is a shot I found of the aforementioned along with the addition of some smoked ham.

    Hangover food.
