I've two friends living up there, don't think they play snooker though. Cheap beer though, I think they have that for breakfast.

What are doing in Sarakham? I think it's easier to meet people in Roi-Et where's there's a much larger Expat population. I think most of the maybe 100 foreigners in the city are either teachers, and form friendships through work, or are retired and moved to the middle of Isan and have no real way to meet their fellow Westerners there.

We have a house in Sarakham (5 years now) this is a 6 month trip prior to retirement, Roi-et is kind of far to go for snooker and beer and drive home.

Perhaps you should retire to Roi-Et.

It's going to be bloody boring being retired in a city in Isan with almost no other Westeners when you crave Western friends and social activities.

Hi, my name is Frank. I,m a new member on this forum, and I noticed your thread.

I live parts of the year in Maha Sarakham where I rent a house next to the International Hospital. My snooker skills are, sorry to say, not so good, but my drinking skills are maybe litle bit better

I stay in Norway now, but I come to Thailand and Maha Sarakham on the 27th of March. I stay there for 1 month this time.

Please send me a PM.
