Had a couple of PMs from him in December
He was working the house for the little one to arrive in April

I would take a shot on the guy on the right , as the other guy has a Union Jack badge .Originally Posted by Koojo

Very sad news indeed.
I understand Crazyswede's protective clothing consisted of tee shirt, combat trousers and small piss pot helmet. He chose not to return home with his buddies in daylight hours but hang around in Buriram all day drinking until after dark before setting off home alone. Very easy to blame the Thai drivers but everyone knows the risks here and needs to be accountable for their actions and their responcibilities!
Hey Koetjeka,
You seem to have known him well. Perhaps you might like to organize a few friends and try to finish the house for his wife ?
Did he have family in Sweden who might help his wife financially ?
Are you sure he was drinking all day Sunday? He was phoned at around 3pm when he was in a PTT gas station on his way out of Buriram and as the accident happened at Chom Pra at 6pm, I suspect your assumption about him leaving in the dark might also be wrong. He also did NOT 'chose not to return home with us', as WE chose to leave far earlier than was arranged.
I am sorry Dave the Dude but these are not assumptions. He was seen drinking through the day. He left Buriram just before 6pm. Between 4pm and up until the time he left he was chatting with a group of Buriram thai bikers. I do not assume how the accident happened or portion blame on anybody as others have. I am just putting some known facts on his movements prior to the accident.
It is a sad loss felt by so many and that sadness should remain as a reminder to us all about road safety. Your group travelled only a short distance but chose to overnight in a hotel for this reasons.
[QUOTE=Dave the Dude;2350122]So his nearest and dearest lied to me about being informed at 8pm of his death in Chom Pra at 6pm.
Can the family contact you for information as to his whereabouts on the last day as this might assist in the current police investigation?[/QUO
Sorry if you are offended Dave, that was not my intention. PM sent.

Interesting.
This [unfortunate] thread has brought out all the Surin & Buriram expat gossipy types whom rarely appear here on TD - they've there own little forum boys club in which to ply their wares.
Sorry to hear about the Swede. Knew of his presence in other circles.
RIP and condolences to his Thai family.
It was his fault? Farang with money. Now his widow owes the other driver money for damages?
Stop telling lies and half-truths, are you not ashamed of yourselves behaving like this?
Simply asking not telling.
I wasn't talking about you but other people.
