True Move H - Internet for Rural Thailand

I just had new internet installed and thought I should make a video to let everyone who might be interested how it works and my true and honest opinion of the product.
Cost of equipment was 12,500 baht, 8,500 without the wireless router. Install was included. The monthly package I signed up for was there top package which cost 999 baht a month.

After talking to True again I now know that after I used up my 7mb limit I then drop to a 128kbs unlimited package, Which is very very slow.

I have that,it's brilliant. Even by Oz standards. I get one mb/s torrents without much issue, over that and web starts to drop off, but still very good value.

I got as far as, " the wires come precut", so you have to make a big enough hole for the plug to fit through. When I saw that hole I realized how fucked True really is. Hiring the handicapped is not the way to make a bigger profit. It will come back and bite you in the end.

I am now into WWIII with them. The first two I have won.

In the op you mention 7mb limit ??

Do you mean 7 gb limit, or is your download speed 7mb ?

If its the latter 7.2 mb like i think, isnt that for 3 g ?

Love the way he wrecks the window frame to bring the plug and wire through...and that's probably his best ever performance because he was on camera

Why didn't you get them to take the "connector" off, it appears to be a standard screw fitting, prior to inserting it through a much smaller hole?

No grommets from the supplier? No care with drilling?

Did they offer a choice of colours for the plastic pipe? Blue pipe on the brown roofing, Blue pipe on the white wall and then bare wire coming down to the window hole.

There are several companies. I have mine through Detac. It's about 4 times faster than dial-up and unlimited for 199 baht a month. I think they have more speed on different plans and they are cheap, but a little more than I pay. If you don't watch movies or You Tube, it's slow, but okay for 199 baht.
If you want to watch a movie or any kind of video, I have to click on pause and let it go ahead and dowload first. It's a pain in the ass, but a cheap pain in the ass. Unlimited on time, not speed.
