Just got settled in Korat after living in Bangkok for more years than I care to admit. I do love it here and wanted to live in this area for quite awhile so I just DID IT!!! The first month has been spent hosting friend from Bangers, now it's time to have some quality time. I enjoy the repartee on this site and it should be an interesting place for discussion and meeting friends. A bit too much politics for my taste, but what the hell. Nice to be among such a diverse group.

the politics lives in the issues forum, it seems like there's a lot of it, but it's only 4 or 5 big boys playing my dick is bigger than yours. Don't go in there if you don't want.

^Well, Korat's kind of a big province....

And, the Korat Plateau (Jool's Location) is even bigger.

Kind of like you saying you live in WA or "out bush"!

never been to Korat but it's all good there if you say so

never been there so should not pronounce myself

don't mind the amateur politicians here, one is soon to retire
so he will not have keep on justifying himself robbing his salary from Uncle Sam,

most of the other ones are pretty old and are soon sure to depart the scene for better pastures.

So just hang in there and enjoy

OK Jools, good for you having the independence to live "out of town", I don't figure that I'd be that comfortable to "live" there.
