Motoring in Thailand and Asia Cars and motorbikes in Thailand and Asia, Where to buy and sell your truck? Where to get fixed and what garage to use. Should I buy a suzuki carry? Will it have a car DVD? Will my travel insurance cover me for driving in Thailand? Or should I just buy a Mercedes or a Honda CRV? Everything to do with motoring and vehicles goes in this section. Do I really need a driving licence in Thailand to drive to Bangkok car hire?

Yes I really like this bike I have to say it is growing on me by the day and finding this web forum;

Welcome to the XR1200™ Owners Group Forum (Not affiliated in anyway with Harley Davidson Motor Company). This site is a place for XR owners and enthusiasts to discuss the XR. Performance modifications, maintenance ideas, upcoming events and other top

I also have been watching youtube videos of this bike all day. I think I am going to have to pull the trigger on this one soon.

Nice to see Rigger and Nedley on the thread as it is nice to hear comments from people with actual hands on M/C experience.
Well I know a lot do have M/C hands on exp, but I mean over 125cc step thru stuff.

Nice that we have a mind reader/telepathic who can sense all of our collective motorcycling experience. What do you ride BG?

I started on a 1938 Scout in about 1947 and had a couple new Hogs and a couple of Triumphs and beezers and some other small cube limeys and my last new was a 1995 FXWG and my last Hog in the states was a late 83 FLH with the cased chain and a new Evo that I bought out of Milwaukee and built up, Then I gave up and started rebuild older sleds and street rods and now I have a Honda Air Blade that I never ride.and would not waste the money for a HOG here as this is a shithole country to ride in as far as I am concerned because you dare not ever look away from traffic or they got ya baby, so If riding was that important to me I would move back home as 1 head on with a sled and living thru it was just plenty for me.

What biker gangs you hang with? I see that you lived in Oregon. I still live 3 blocks away from the old Gypsie Jokers club house. What do you know?

None really in Portland, but have a lot of friends in Outsiders, want I should have Squeeze come over and dislocate your head and put you in orthopedic shirts?
I hear he is back active again.
Know some dudes with Bro Speed.,, Jokers too, but as I didn't drink or do drugs I never hung with the clubs, but my last marriage there in Oregon was attended by a bunch from Outsiders and was quite a todo over in a rental big log house in Vancouver, was also attended by 2 active OSP and 2 OLCC, quite a mix Huh.

So how much does a new XR1200 sell for here in Thailandia?
MSRP is $10800.00 in the USA.
