| Nissan Teana? I don't like the look of them, but you might. I prefer the look of the Accord. The Camry looks nothing special, inside or out. I haven't driven any of them as I'm not a executive saloon kind of guy. |

One of the 'extras' I try to offer on my tours is a video of the place they are going to visit...providing some background info etc before they get there...eases the boredom of a 2-3 hour drive... Both Honda and Camry offer DVD screens but Nissan do not...no Bluetooth or reverse screen either...

| Rayong | Can either run on E85 ? Is one likely to be better when they switch to E20 instead of E10 ? In Australia the Honda Accord is sold as a premium vehicle while the camry is the cheap and cheerful larger car. The Aussie Magna, Falcon and Commodore are way behind the Camry and the camry fits my (not very) petite body much better than the commodore in particular. Mark PS good luck with the shopping.

| Sundance is my bff | Actually, if your primary purpose is impressing clients (especially if they're foreign), for the same money, I'd buy an older S class or E class Mercedes. I guess it depends on what you need it for, but remember both Camry and Accord are basically still considered entry level economy cars in the west. *edited, well not exactly entry level, but every family can own one. Not much status. |

| Och, ye dinnae make a decision tae buy a car based on a DVD player laddie. All that stuff can be fitted aftermarket, including Bluetooth and it will be cheaper and better quality than OEM. |

I believe the Accord has a lower ceiling than the Camry, providing more comfort for the rear-seat passenger.

can hardly pull up at the front door in a Toyota Wish... Quote:
It's more than a decade since I've been 'in the west' so have no idea of what is considered 'entry level'...all I look at is what the likes of TAT, AOT and the luxury hotels use for their limos...Camry & Accord seem to fit at the level under benz/BMW which is where I want to be... Quote:

I can see what you're saying but the Wish is a very well appointed vehicle in it's own right, we're not talking about a Toyota Vios here. Actually I think it direct price comparison they may actually even be more expensive than the Accord/Camry? My boss was impressed with me wife's and he's got a Ferrari!

| Elite Member | ^^Not sure I follow your logic here CT: I don't have the cash to buy a Benz but can lay down a decent deposit on a new Camry or Accord... where is the 'wasted cash' in that... I've been doing some thinking about the costs of car ownership here in Thailand... linky (Cost of Car Ownership in Thailand) . Last edited by klongmaster : 24-08-2008 at 07:49 PM. |

My point is that if it's your cash, and you don't put a lot of miles on the vehicle, you'd be better off with a used Merc, Bimmer, or even Volvo.
