Shitty Thai drivers
Father in law had a pick up slam into the back of my pre runner yesterday. Not his fault as he was stopped at the time and a Isuzu pick up smashed into the back of him. So I get the call to go down as the guy wants to use my wife’s insurance as he doesn’t have any on his nice Isuzu truck, and get this he works for a car insurance company.
He kept saying sorry and can I please help him and of course me being such a nice guy told him to fok off. So then my insurance guy turns up and has a go around with him and in the end threaten him with getting the police involved before he agreed to pay.
I met him this morning and 20K to his truck and probably 8k to mine and three days to repair (lucky I pick up the wifes new one tomorrow). They were talking about trying to straighten my bumper which I told them no I would like the car put back as new stickers and all
Anyway I hope they fix it properly

Well your insurance agent needs a kick up the arse then.
Impossible to repair a bent plated bumper .
You would need to replate it and get out all the dents perfectly with no stretching because you cannot use filler.

Well picked me pickup today and I wasnt a happy man caused a bit of a seen at the repair shop then stormed of to the car to cool down. They were told to re paint all the scratch marks around the car and the cnuts did half a job so one side looks new and the other side with 4 years of scuff marks. Then I get in to drive off and there are two paint marks on the seat and they left a foking mud flap off ?
I had a falling out with the wife over it for not talking nice, well fok them they told me they would do all and it would be 3 days, Picked it up to day #8 and the barsteds still cant get it right.
So I foked off to the pub for few and it all looks better now

So basically this cnut has given some poxy garage 2000 baht and said fix it as best you can for 2000 and that will do for the farang.
As daft as it sounds, what might have been better to do was negiotiate a cash payment off him for the accident and then use your own insurance to get it repaired and put his money towards next year insurance premium. Easy with 20-20 hindsight isnt it.
I would post his name and the story on the khonkaen forum and tell all the farang on there to ignore his insurance company. He'll like that
