Arrived at mr Goes shop in Salakram and had a couple of beers and waited for a few more guys to turn up My bike looking very pretty A nice ZX 14, The poor guy dropped it on his way to meet us, but was lucky and got away with a few scratches on the paint work Spins Blackbird with Johns lovely brand new FJR 1300 in the back ground, 770k baht worth

| Oh that brings back memories. Somewhere in a national park. Shit roads huge pot holes and the team decided to rag it off. I think fuck that and keep it steady. Go around a corner to see two bikes - Blackbird and XJR 1300 with flat wheels. Both men looking somewhat sheepish. Managed to fit them in the back of a truck and had to lug one of the fat cunts with me. Backup vehicles are always needed in any Thai roadtrip no matter how new the bikes are.

| ![]() Right then so Spin appears to think he is some sort of racing rider all hunched over like that. The third bike in FJR it looks like is heading straight on in the corner. Is that the FJR with the semi automatic gear box? Edit Just realised Spins bike is parked up at the side of the road and isn't moving in that photo. |

| Elite Member | It was time to head back and with the girls now in the car we had a merry old time been hoons. Then one of the GSXRs spat a clutch and Spin lost us while looking for a karoke bar and a cold beer. So we foked around and had to unload the CB1000 and send the vehicle back for it. So arrived at the next place a little late The Salakham guys then took us out to someones farm where we started to get pissed and thought it was a good idea to get the bikes back to the hotel, which was excellent for 700 baht a night and was as good if not better than a 3,000 baht hotel in Bangkok |

We started to feel better and spin was eyeing off this bird V V ![]() |

| Elite Member | We then said goodbye to the Salakham bike team and thanked them for a great time and headed home, stoped in at Cheap charles for a few beers and finshed the trip knocking back some cold beers and pizza back at my house. A fitting end to a great a great weekend with a great bunch of people The whole time we were with these guys they refused to let us pay for a thing. Their hospitality was second to none and the best I have experinced in Thailand and a really cool bunch of fun loving Thai guys and girls ![]() Last edited by Rigger : 23-06-2008 at 01:24 PM. |
