| Radar Detectors With the latest 'crackdown' on speeding (at least on the highways), and the BiB actually having some radar kit I think it's time to get a radar detector. So, are they legal, are they available, anyone got advice on the best model that will detect the local variety of speed trap? |

| I got caught in a couple just before Christmas heading down south. I was doing around 140 both times, but the Police waived me on both times. Seems they were only interested in cars and trucks..... |

| you could always get a magnetron out of a microwave , create a filter corresponding to the radar frequency , put a relay and button in circuit so you can divert power from your coil to the magnetron - then burn the input mosfets on the police radar unit with raw power. but only if you feel devious.
