| PP, not much bling on that bike but then where would you put it. I guess the tank bag makes it easier on the back when leaning over all the time. More of a sports bike than cruiser. Nice bike but I'll still stick with the Eli 900 as it's more of a combo Sport/Cruiser. I'm just a nutter that doesn't really care what anyone rides, UP2U, just get pissed at people that slag on others. I just give CMN bs because I can't ride that style of bike anymore, it would just eat my knees and back up.

| I used to own a VFR800, the model before they went to the VTECH engine. Very comfortable bike and I loved the nice burble you when you close the throttle quickly. Not like the full on semi backfire of a V-twin, just a nice V4 burble. Riding position is not nearly as aggressive as my CBR, though I would have preferred a slightly shorter reach to the bars. |

| Had a few bikes over here. CB750F, VFR800, VTR1000 and 2 Waves - all Hondas. The CB is still in my town and still goin well with over 70k km's on her. The VFR, a great wheelie bike and one of the only bikes I know where you could more or less have a smoke doin' 200kmh. Big troubles with the engine sensors on it so got shot of that and got myself a Firestorm. Great bike too until it's sudden demise. Never mind, the Wave gets me around now, albeit a helluva lot slower! |

| The Grand Wazoo | I've been riding a 10 year old honda dream 100 for the past few days and love it for putting around town. Better than my 1 year old wave 125! Though I do like the disc brake on the newer one. I priced a new BMW GS1200 the other day.....A whopping 950,000 Baht!! I'm starting to save now! What a beautiful machine! ![]() |

| The Grand Wazoo | One of the most unpleasant rides I've ever been on was a Fat Boy What an over rated POS! If you enjoy watching your eyeballs vibrate go for it! At least a heritage soft tail or an FLHS ride half decently. The fat boy is all show and no go. In other words it's a freaking joke amongst those who know anything about motorcycles. You want a superlative cruiser styled ride? Get the big suzuki intruder now that's a worthy machine. ![]() |

| I thought a Fatboy was basically a stripped down Heritage? Same engine and frame surely? Thinking of selling my 98 Heritage cheaply but the fact that it's done almost 130k without a problem is giving me second thoughts. Damned most reliable bike I've ever owned. My 98 Transalp on the other hand has only done 50k. The engine sprocket fell off at 45k, the CDI units are fucked (production problem), the battery overcharges (again production problem) the rubber rear indicator stems have both rotted away, the plastic side panels break too easily when removing etc.etc.......still, it's good for pottering around on. |

Lke any bike a loose nut or bolt, primary chain or out fo balance wheel(s) can ruin a ride. Met a dude the other day was complaining his HD got wobbly at high speed. Nice fella maybe ai should have asked if he'd had his weheels balanced, or if he checked to see if the were properly aligned. Some folks just expect a harley to be a beast and accept it, move on call all hogs POSs. Any vehicle can get thrown out of whack or suffer from poor setup/maintenance.

| The Grand Wazoo | Yea I probably rode a crap fat boy. I didn't know the heritage had the same chassis. The heritage soft-tail is bearable but still not a comfy ride. Seriously if you're in the market for a cruiser look for a big suzuki intruder. It's one smooth mofo with the shaft drive. If you've got 950000 baht to spare you can buy one of these! This has to be the best motorcycle made today! |
