Motoring in Thailand and Asia Cars and motorbikes in Thailand and Asia, Where to buy and sell your truck? Where to get fixed and what garage to use. Should I buy a suzuki carry? Will it have a car DVD? Will my travel insurance cover me for driving in Thailand? Or should I just buy a Mercedes or a Honda CRV? Everything to do with motoring and vehicles goes in this section. Do I really need a driving licence in Thailand to drive to Bangkok car hire?

Remember the first Harley that I ever rode, foot clutch and a hand gear change, it just about frightened the life out of me!

Shouldn't this post be moved to the 'Agricultural Equipment' thread?

I regret not buying that Gl1100 now. Wish I had. Not sure if I would have got my money back but it was pure sex and style

Why don't you buy her something easy to ride, those chopper things are a bitch to handle, they are hard to get around corners. Foward controls are difficult to use I can't see the point, if you want to put yr foot on the ground it has to travel quite a long way instead of just naturally dropping down to the ground from the footpeg.
A CB 400 or similar style is going to be a lot easier to handle.

for starters the seat height on the CB 400 is to hi for her and she wanted a chopper I thought about a Rebal 250 or Virago 250 but this one just turned up at very cheap money as well as I know the history of the bike recent jap import. So if she cant ride it I can sell it on to someone else easy enough with out losing money

Great bikes.

Drop a tooth of the front and put a couple on the back and it changes the whole bike.
You can get a nice HID system as well for a hundred fffty dollars as well twin lights
