Motoring in Thailand and Asia Cars and motorbikes in Thailand and Asia, Where to buy and sell your truck? Where to get fixed and what garage to use. Should I buy a suzuki carry? Will it have a car DVD? Will my travel insurance cover me for driving in Thailand? Or should I just buy a Mercedes or a Honda CRV? Everything to do with motoring and vehicles goes in this section. Do I really need a driving licence in Thailand to drive to Bangkok car hire?

| agingone, if you're talking about the OCC boys building bikes then I think the show stinks, same story all the time with time shortage and shit. They don't build them, they just put them together. I would like to see a show about the guys building bikes (Outlaw Bikes) in that prison in the US. I forget the name but these guys build just about the whole thing in prison.

I am planing on selling mine off. The missus is a bit worried as a story has just filtered through to her about the near miss with a truck a few weekends back. Time to buy something a little slower.

Dave, if you watch the shows, you'll see that OCC gets the frames built by another company and pick up fenders and other parts from yet again another company and then gets someone else to do the paint work. They do some mods but most of what they do is put the bikes together like you would a bicycle. Boring show to me. I did like the 911 bike but then most of the stuff was made by other companies, the fireplug carb was cool though. Last edited by Eliminator : 17-02-2006 at 06:35 AM.

Wish I could just post from my computer on threads but the avitar pic is what my bike will look like in about 3-4 months. Will have to stay stock for awhile but I'll get some mods done later.
