yeh I would think 110 hp if tuned right as the same mod engine with out the race ignition and single fire ignition can make 107hp. And please fix your drive way so I can crank it right up next time I drop in mate

SE heads are about $850 in the catalog the cam is cheap. will require new lifters, pushrods and a cam bearing. not sure what to do about the carb, re-jet or SE 44mm. But I think in about two months I should be able to get that in. should give me about 90 ft lbs & 85 hp from stock displacement at 5800 - 6000 RPM with 9.5:1 CR. Tires and wheels gotta go. The wheels on it now wuld be great for making smoke no speed. And them laced wheels ain't gonna like hole shots with a sticky tire, I don;t mind truing them - but once a week would be pain. what comes first? I am tempted to go with more ponies but wheels & tires are important.

Those old 9 spoke FLH mag wheels look strong and about the same weight as spokes; you see a set laying around keep me in mind. lot of folks swamp 'em for that shiny shit, should be easy to find. BUT it all depends on what I find out riding the thing, could be a bucket of other problems. I don't think so, but a 30 minute inspection sure ain't enough to tell everything.

upping it to 96" & EFI conversion? Dunno man. will get my first phase in and see. Who knows? things might work out and I get the whole shebang at once. Doubtful. realistically? next year; but that's only 5 months away

Plannng on the 8 & 9 in Udon bike willbe in full regalia unless we bring a truck and tools lessee, can franky swap heads, valve train and carb, then tune over night while hte fellas is out partying? Fuckin doubt it. Hate to miss a party

Yeh Cavey gave me the wrong info on that, bloody deaf old git. Yeh the old TL runs well and you should try it with the throttle open and the other 3 gears

Sorry o great zx10 god sure the 11 year old TL is not the fastest bike on the road but you could hardly call it slow, Ridden the new crop of ZX10 Zx14 CBR 1000 so I know how quick they are, How many modded TL1000R have you ridden

A modded TL, none. A standard TL yes. Lots of low end grunt.
I no longer have the ZX10R.
Not impressed with the latest ZX10R. Kawasaki have delayed the launch of the new ZX10R by another year! So have to wait now till end of 2010.
The CBR1000RR looks good. But Honda is lacking in soul.
ZX14 no comment. Dunno enough about it.

Yes grunt now add a TRE, Power commander, race cans and K&N and now gear it -1 on the front and + 2 or 3 on the rear and tell me you dont have a bike that pulls hard and puts a smile on your face
