Motoring in Thailand and Asia Cars and motorbikes in Thailand and Asia, Where to buy and sell your truck? Where to get fixed and what garage to use. Should I buy a suzuki carry? Will it have a car DVD? Will my travel insurance cover me for driving in Thailand? Or should I just buy a Mercedes or a Honda CRV? Everything to do with motoring and vehicles goes in this section. Do I really need a driving licence in Thailand to drive to Bangkok car hire?

HD have made some cracking bikes, but sadly most American bikers didn't appreciate them.

I can tell right off that you have never ridden a K Model, was a pretty good flat track machine back before the days of the Japs.
All the Cafe Racer is is a 61cid [1000cc] sportster with a different body.

I wouldnt mind a V rod to play with, Think of all the bits I could bolt onto that sucker. I still say any one that says harleys are slow dont know shit, sure they arent a race bike but in a straight line they can be a weapon good enough to get your rocks off, Shit me old shovel use to beat me mates V8 torana and that bike was 20 years old,
if you havent ridden a modern big proformance V twin you are really missing something as these babys really do go hard, Stock they arent ever going to beat a jap sport bike but lets be real here and compare american v twin crusiers against jap crusiers and see there aint much in it.
And BG a Buell is a harely davidson even if it is slighly modifidy it came from the HD factory dint it.

^^not any more Buell went to a new Italian (Vee-Twin) motor, Harley Owns the Company so I guess you could call it "Harley" 'bout like a VRod.
but got to agree about those jap crotch rockets are built about as far as they can be and remain streetable out of the box. I expect my bike when done will be competitive with any of them hot rods stop light to stop light with 9.5:1 CR and still be considered a mild build. Won't corner like 'em but you'd be surprised what you can do when you learn to ride 'em a little 'loose.'

Might well be 160KPH but 0-60mph and you ain't goin to see anything but my rear fender. That's WITHOUT help from pros. Maybe I can't say that, the friend helping me finally is what I consider a professional. Lord knows I've asked my other friends to help me with this project, you're so lucky to have the backing to put together such an awesome bike. Mine was manufatured in 1986 and it's STOCK.

Yes, A Buell is a Hog, and I have had a couple of Hog cruisers that would surprise hell out of you and would outdo big jap cruisers pulling trailers on long runs that would walk away from the japs in the hills. Only had flowed heads and changed the cams and reworked the ignition modual.
But have never had an over cube HD that was dependable for shit. Had one blow 1000 miles from home and had to rent a pickup to haul the prick home and get it fixed.
Best thing is an Easy Breather and let it go at that.
\And you are correct in that they are not slow, but they will not do what the high cube japs will do either, but they are a different type MC and not built to be a Porsche, but I damn sure would hate to put 700 to over 1000 mile days on any jap I have ever seen.
From Sacramento to Salt Lake City and only stopped for gas and 2 times to eat, plus piss stops.

Did you know the average male is 6 inches long, and the average female is 8 inches deep? So in New York City alone there is over 3 miles of unused pussy!

NRHS - High Performance for your Harley Twin Cam, Evolution, Sportster or Buell!

you can see here the power and tq that can be had from a buell engine, these are the guys I got most of my gear from, if you want to go extrem anything from 125 to 140 HP is possible with enough torq to pull a fore skin off a elephant. there is no reason why my buell when tuned could make 110 hp and 90 + ft/lbs

How many CCs and HP is your Buell compared to my STOCK 900cc with about 85/90 HP? This all depends on which dyno you use.

1250cc and 100 plus hp with 30% more torq than your chop with a Z900 engine and at a guess 20% lighter, now you do have more pistons than me and carbs, fok all I got is one big one you get 4

Sorry for the miss spelling, maybe I was talking DYNO tune like something for your bike:

Trask Performance :: Why Dyno Tune Your Bike

Of course you have more money and the PROS so you can go this route.
