You don;t wanna fuck with your paint job. Understood. I sold a trike that had a sporty tank (back when sporty tanks were 2.2 gal) The fucking thing was sold and the tank bracket cracked riding it back to the shop. Tried to weld it up right quick. Though maybe I could touch up (underneath). Popped a big chunk of Bondo off the top! several inches fromteh heat affected zone, had to get it to bare metal, tin the ding with brass and lead it up with solder, then spray can the whole thing. Different color close but no cigar. Was up all night. dude showed up the next day, wanted a fuckin discount. He didn't get it.

Was looking at the bungs easy enough to make if you got a lathe or even a drill motor and a pipe tap doesn't have to be round. But you might have to add a doubler to the sheetmetal around the hole if the weld's fucked it up.

Pitch gague and calipers ought get you the specs you need to fnd out the nominal size of the bung though. be amazed what you can fnd with google.

Another Gay Bike to the collection.

I bought this 1980 Honda C90 with book that doesn't particularly look very limp-wristed

I then had it turned into this full-on Gay Vision in Purple.

Yes it is - you just need to be English to be smart enough how to work out the posting procedure.

Nice lookin bike. I've got one of those thingsl; beat to shit, can't get out of it's own way. I parked it about two years ago might not start now. Thought about getting it dressed up like the ones posted above, but I really can't be bothered working on it. Fixed up, still wouldn't ride it - doubt my ol' lady would either.

Thanks for that Frankie. I tried every which way to post this picture. First it came out the size of a couple of stamps then all I got was the red cross in a box. Dunno why. The stats showed it would be twice as big.??

A friend road a Honda Wave all the way from Pattaya to Phnom Penh with no problems !! This one costs 25,000 baht and is done to your own specs by a shop in Bangkok speciallising in small bikes. O.K for local trips of upto 20 miles but further than that better wheel out something bigger. The last big bike I had was a Triumph Daytona ( 500 cc twin ) but that was a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago.

Platinum 175cc. A lot of people slag them off but I haven't had many problems and it is a few years old. Gets me around the country when I am off road so it does me for now. I'd like a big arsed chopper but I couldn't use it on the roads where I live so this is it for now.

BTW, just got my bike back from the registration / inspection Monday , still have to wait another month plus for the actual plate and book, but they gave me some paperwork to show the BIB if stopped.
paid 50,000 initially March 17th another 20,000 last Monday and the balance when I get the plate/book-10,000. almost there.
I ordered the Vance & Hines pipes, Arlen Ness big Sucker and a Fuel pack should have em changed out sometime next week, can't wait.

Went to Mahasalahram in the car with wife and kids, Mtd rode down with his wife and we met up with a few riders down there, Mtd scored some rare bike parts and then we had a few wiskeys and a feed all in it was a good day.

Dont forget the pics, Off to the workshop myself today for about three days work on the chopper got to do the springer seat ,new ignition, mount oil pressure gauge, new head breather filters, Braided oil lines, tighten head bearing, change all oils.
I am doing the first step towards a plate next week. Its not so bad all I have to do is take pictures of my bike and copy the frame and engine number, get a witness (Anan bike shop) to sign to say I built it in Thailand, show the import pappers on the frame and engine and pay 11K baht for the super sammit what ever the fok that is and I should be done

I got me springer seat on and is a lot more injoyable to ride not waiting for the next back jar. Fitted the daytona ignition and really happy with the power gain I got in the mid range is brutal and runs alot smother. And that only setting the static timing, need to buy a timming light this week to set it propperly

Good job on the Springer seat Rigger.
I like those seats that have like a shock absorber fitted directly to the seat.
    Are they expensive?
