Motoring in Thailand and Asia Cars and motorbikes in Thailand and Asia, Where to buy and sell your truck? Where to get fixed and what garage to use. Should I buy a suzuki carry? Will it have a car DVD? Will my travel insurance cover me for driving in Thailand? Or should I just buy a Mercedes or a Honda CRV? Everything to do with motoring and vehicles goes in this section. Do I really need a driving licence in Thailand to drive to Bangkok car hire?

Then it wasn't free, that would be like a barter but not FREE. Either way, clean, really clean looking bike. Lucky bugger.

There is a shop in Hua HIn that specilaises in restoring bikes, mostly Honda ST50s. Here are a few of his before and after.

I'm not sure whether the Ariel is an NH or VH, probably a '52 or '53, but it sure needs a lot of work.

It ain't big MTD.

It is about the size of a CBR150 that CMN used to own. But it gets to 120km/h in about 3s or so.

Still own it, but don't ride it. In fact got 3 new ones coming next week.

They will surprisingly cruise up to 140kmph.

This you tour business.

The R1-Z max's out about 180kmph, but it gets there fast.

Good fun to pull wheelies on. I think it makes about 50BHP or its 56BHP.

I am tempted to start a poll on 'How long before one of CMN's customers appears on the Dead Farang Thread.'

Sorry if you think that Elim but I think I am just being realistic. I don't wish anyone harm but personally I would never get involved in renting anything more powerful than a bicycle to tourists.

That looks like a sweet ride, I love the perimeter frame and the naked bike styling. I love that harsh 2-stroke sound too. Looks like it might have some aftermarket suspension parts as well, I bet it is a riot to ride. Light weight peaky power, fun fun fun. Nice bike!

I am trying to come up with a good reason not to buy it. I don't need it but I want it.

I wanted to get a CBR again but the wife said i'm too "old" for those racers. So it's this one then.

Saw one like this at the Red Baron. Brought in on order. Wonder where to ride this thing in LOS.
