    Can I change the subject?

Just about got the BROS 650 singing at last.
After swapping the wheels over from the 400 ,(400 has an 18 inch rear) flushing out and refilling the front end with ATF and setting the rear shock up I started getting some turn in and a bit of feedback from the bugger.
After much searching , haggling and stuffing about , (many thanks to mrsquirrel for the links !) I settled on Dunlop Sport K510,s front and rear even tho at 10 grand fitted and balanced I feel I could have got a better deal in bkk.
They hang on real good in the hot/n/dry , but the front is a tad skiddish in the wet. Not too sure if its the rubber on the road or the rear set too high and hard.
Fitted a high flow muffler so the world knows im coming but the jetting is still way rich.
Bringing me to the point of this ramble ..... Honda in phuket cant/wont or are just too Fkin lazy to sort me some mains for it so i will put it out there ..
Cv carbs VDGKA .... front 138 , rear 132 main jets. Anybody know where i can source some ?

Figured I'd get him on the next decent straight. never saw him again.

I had was having a great fcukin time. Pretty sure he was thinking teh same damned thing.

You could try doing that Honda F2 front end conversion on it. Reckon that would tighten things up nicely.

At the Chaing Mai Biker Event, there was a new Vulcan 900. Price tag was 446,000B
But, that price included free 1st class insurance and all paperwork including green book. Then go go to the American Kawasaki sight and you will see that bike, new in a 2009 for $8900 to about $9300. So its clear you are paying all the fees up front from a new bike dealer.

Before shopping at a used big bike store, find out the guys reputation. If he ill do all the paperwork, then he is probably honest. Check out bahtsold.com for good used bikes, but stay away from the 2000 Kawasaki advertised by a guy named frank. I dealt with him, and he is rotten to the core. Google big bike dealers in Bangkok and Thailand.
Excellent post. Different answers from each dept, you've hit the nail on the head there. It seems there is no clear guide for values placed on motor vehicles not even price paid at purchase.

    Onto this .......

Ill do a lil research ... maybe a vf750 front wheel would suit the rear better than that cbr , and still get the twin disc benefit?

They said I ordered the wrong part for my bike, which is bullshit. I can fit anything 1" I want to my bike, They say they tried to e mail me yet there is not one single email from them in my ebay mail. Ok so now I make contact with them and tell them again what length cables I need and then they canceled the order and refunded my money.

I tried a CV carb with a thunder kit 195 main 45 slow lost to much grunt, cleaned the crap out of my mukuni and put it back on and she is sweet again. I think I will put a fuell filter in this time

Jesus Christ Rigger, don't you know better than to run without an inline filter?
Nothing wrong with them Kuni carbs, I prefer them over S&S., but my buddy in Oregon has always used a SU.

There was a bunch went thru here awhile back and one dude damn near had to stand on his seat to reach high enough to get his hands on his Ape Hangers.

Ebay, I order a driver backrest. ad said for vn1500 My bike) or Nomad. so, after over 3 plus weeks I get the Nomad backrest. If I could put it on, the way the brackets are designed, I would have to sit on the F'n thing.

I paid $110 USD + 40.00 shipping, and 20 duty. $60 buckss shot to hell, so I emailed them almost a week ago to just send me the brackets off a VN1500. Over a week now and no word. So my next email tonight will be a bit more explicit. How the fuck does some idiot screw up a choice of 2...>>>I'm pissed.

Rigger, just an idea, you might try tapping out the thread to something you can use, unless of course it's too big to begin with. If that's the case, then you could either weld up the hole, or use some liquid steel and then tap it out to the size you need.

I think I've still got the original filter on my bike. Do you have to change them when they get to 30 years old?
