No mines a 96 CR250, not really what you need for putting around the country side . Just put on new factory race pipe and carbon racing reeds and block on rebuilt engine top and btm end, Its even got new stickers and bars, Chain and spockets. Never thrash and only ridden to church on sunday
I will let you have it for 70K

Woah there big fella, way too much tech talk.

New stickers you say? Now we're talking. Any chance of photos. Oh, and an explanation of what all that means.

I'm seriously looking. The converted 110 cc honda just carked
Hardly surprising.

You do NOT ant to ride Riggers CR unless you like having your arms pulled out of their sockets and spend half the time riding keeping the front wheel on the ground.

If you are serious I'm sure the good people here can find exactly what you want.

What exactly do you want? (to ride)?

A very fair and friendly point. Cheers

I'm looking for a 250 - 500 trials type bike. Something I can use off road a bit but also on the tarmac. I don't want to spend too much money and I don't need to go too fast (not around here anyway) reliability, a bit of torque, availability of spares. A strong frame and forks (I'm 100 plus)

Budget............ 40 - 50.

Honda XR 250 is my bet. You taking the mrs on the back? Whats the closest big town? 250's are mostly regestered.

I know a guy who is selling a nice XR 650 but it's near 200k....

You'll get an XR 250 in Chiang Rai no worries for your budget, someone can help if your not mechanically inclined. I know a guy in Chiang Mai who would know of something. You could have a lok at the Golde Triangle Riders forum

I stated that the engine was worth 150 GBP, they charged me I think 20% . however the engine was worth more than that, but the mistake was that I described the engine as used, thinking it would reflect the low cost price, MISTAKE, Authorities stated they do not allow used euipment into Thailand and charged me 300$ to change the description to NEW, Tossers, that was for each shipment. If you can change the invoice price do so and the new /old description, I assume that you have a Thai clearance Co, check with them, if you must falsify the original invoice
