    You mean a Rolls Canardly

Rolls down hills and can ardly get up 'em?
The CVT gearbox does, however, still bring some drawbacks. Toyota doesn’t even begin to pretend that this is a sports car, but the way the 1.8-litre engine’s revs blare when you accelerate up to cruising speed borders on unpleasant. Similarly, I don’t think anybody buys an Auris and expects seat-of-the-pants handling, but you can’t help but wonder if a bit more effort could have gone into the steering, which is as about as lifeless as they come.

My wife has the same car but not the estate. It's a great car, I really like it. It's 2 years old and we are waiting for the new shape to be released and we will be getting another.

I have looked at BM's and Merc's and here you would have to spend 4mill to get a car as good.

It goes like a rocket but the best thing is it has air conned front seats!
I would post pictures but life's too short.

Okay here's My rough calculations, My previous diesel was using over £20 a day in fuel.
This Hybrid uses £10 of fuel a day.
    A daily saving of £10
Over a month that adds upto more than the loan repayment .
After the loan is paid off, I believe that have gained a free car.

Thanks for the appreciative comments, another reason I can afford the monthly repayments is that I gave up drinking alcohol, not a drop for 5 months, thats saving Me £100 a week

4 pints. Well thats what it feel like sometimes.

Fuck me side wides it is pricey. When I left Europe, if you ordered a short with a splash of something, they might charge you 20p or something for that, and water from a jug. Now? gin and tonic? Little bottle of tonic only and it's 2.50 Euro for that. The same price as a pint was when I left in the first place. Soda Water? Forget about it. Want a splash in your rum? 2.50 for a small bottle of it. this is on top of the 5 euro for the shot!

You can walk out and drop 100 quid in about 3 hours without even thinking about it.

But they look lame and take more energy to produce. Unless you are driving 100,000 kms a year a traditional car is better value and more power.

Drive around Urban roads very slowly, mostly below the U.K 30 miles per hour speed limit , then in town a lot of red traffic lights , which waste fuel by an idling engine, whereas the Hybrid switches off.
In My old diesel it was mainly 2nd gear driving around urban roads, thanks to Fkn speed bumps, restrictors traffic calming measures.Pot holes etc
I do very little motorway mileage
Slow speeds and stop start driving chew up the juice.
    Horses for courses.
And the traffic is getting worse on a daily level, thanks to the massive housing building projects to house all those Fake Londoners who have overpopulated South England .
Each new home has 2 cars, but the road infrastructure stays the same.

You eventually learn that staying in or Wetherspoons are the only two options.
