I don't think the difference in price at the pump is yet enough to make E85 actually cheaper?

Better to use the advantages of E85 for performance addicts who don't mind paying a bit more to get more performance?

There is lots of oil about we don't need to burn food anymore to power vehicles.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.

^Not sure, my 2007 CRV runs on E85 and is much cheaper to fill. Mileage per tank is about 30km less on average but the overall saving is much greater. 1100 to fill with E85 compared to 1700bht with regular.

Additionally, my 2007 CRV get more km per litre that my wife's 2015 Accord. I think a lot of the fuel claims these days are total bollix.

Same driving conditions and location my wife averages 9.5km in urban areas around minburi. My CRV is getting between 12 and 15km.

I know this has been brought up many times, but I would think twice about using E85 in any car not specifically engineered for it. I am still not convined that ethanol does not decrease engine life.

Best everyone do their homework. I am still a diesel engine fan.
