    The World's Fastest Production Motorcycle...

    ... is ELECTRIC!

The Lightning LS218 is four amazing things all at the same time: (1) a superbike, (2) a superbike you have never heard of, (3) the world’s fastest superbike, (4) and a 100% powered superbike. The Lightning LS218 is the world’s fastest production street motorcycle thanks to its official top land speed of 218 miles per hour. Powered by a lithium battery, a liquid-cooled electric motor and very few moving parts. And, according to the folks who reviewed it on this superbike review video, the Lightning LS218 accelerates like no other 200+-horsepower bike they have ever tested. World?s Fastest Superbike, Electric Lightning LS218, Will Change Way U Look @ Electric Bikes

I checked it out, Retail price starts at $38,888 USD or £25,900 or 1,4m baht. So it's the same price as a HD Road King. Still, my STR is only 1/3 of the price. But then you got import tax...
    Lang may yer lum reek...

250-ish kms range so good to get to the north side of Khao Yai but then one has to wait 6+ hrs for a recharge to come back which makes it a long day waiting. OK I suppose to go to a resort for the day and sit by the pool and read a book.

Leave electric for the cage drivers and let the bikeriders ruin the planet!
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

there are 3 battery options available, the best getting you 180 miles and only needs 30 mins charge on a DC fast charger. 120 minutes on level 2 charger.

30 mins is good for the range. Plug in, smoke and a pancake and you're good to go.

"Electric engines can be more than 90% efficient, even up to 98% efficient while combustion engines are 30 to 45% efficient"

The fastest have to be electric. 98% direct power.

..and where in Thailand have you seen a Level 2 charger. You can have one at home for $2000 in the US but here...

So you are stuck with a 240v Level 1 (plug into a wall socket system) which takes 3 times longer than Level 2. Hence my reference to 6 hours.
