Just placed an order for one of these for the wife. Dealer says he can "guarantee" delivery before 2016 to avoid the Jan 1 price rise. Cancelled my Ford Everest order as the delivery date is now looking like May !!
This should represent a significant saving coupled with Mitsubishi's lower price. Looks a bit challenging from some angles, but on a quick demo seems to drive nicely. Engine much quieter than the competition and 8sp auto very smooth.
    Here's hoping...

^Ditto. Drives beautifully, which offsets the less-than-lovely back view of the new Pajero. If you've ordered in 2015 you don't have to pay the 2016 tax increase.

A few people i know have received as promised. A mate ordered one and is in the showroom waiting but the extras haven't turned up. Nothing to moan about as he can take the motor and pop back for the extras to be fitted.

This is the car the Mrs has been begging me to buy. What's the info on order in 2015 to offset 2016 increase. Does this apply to ordering for a sale in mid 2016, when I would prefer to have the car...right now is not the right time.

So what do I lose out on if Idon't order mid December for July/August ?

^Troy, not sure about the long delay from ordering now, to delivery in mid-2016..
Best ask your local dealer. We ordered and paid a deposit at the start of November, and the contract states that we pay 2015 rate only.

We are still awaiting delivery of the GTS model. They seem to be delivering the 4WD versions first.

    Thanks for the suggestion Dillinger.
But decided to go pretty much standard with 60% sides/rear and 40% front.

Ordered the GT model well over 2 months already, still no delivery date from Mitsubishi.. They are currently only delivering the 4WD versions.
Been on to the main dealership in Bkk many times now. At least we will get full options on the GT Pajero when it finally does arrive. Not happy, tbh.
